Dr.Yvonne Poon

Dr Poon completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of London in 1990.  She spent a number of years working in general dentistry in the UK and Australia before studying for the Fellowship in Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland.  In 1997 she moved to Australia and completed her Masters in Dental Science (Orthodontics) at the University of Sydney.

Dr Poon provides orthodontic and orthopaedic treatments for children and adults.  She uses the self-ligating Damon Q bracket system and is also an accredited provider for Invisalign treatments.

Dr Poon has been involved in clinical teaching in the Orthodontic Department, University of Sydney.  She is  an active member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, Australian Dental Association and the World Federation of Orthodontists.

Dr Poon’s orthodontic practice in Gladesville has been established since 2005.  She is a local Hunters Hill resident and is married with 4 children.  Her working days are Mon to Thurs at Gladesville and Fridays at Forestville Dental Clinic.  www.forestvilledentalclinic.com.au
